Video Call — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Android application Video Call (Google Play package com.dopetech.videocall), branded inside the app as WINK. By installing, opening, or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The publisher (referred to as "we", "us", "our") is Dopetech, the developer account associated with the Google Play listing above.

2. Eligibility — 18+ only

The app is not designed for, marketed to, or intended for children. It is rated for mature audiences on the Play Store. We rely on the Play Store's content-rating gates and on your self-attestation that you meet the age requirement.

3. Your account

• You may sign in either as a guest (Firebase anonymous identity, no email required) or with Google Sign-In (uses your existing Google account).
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Activity on your account is treated as activity by you.
• You may have only one active account at a time. Creating duplicate accounts to evade a block, ban or report is itself a violation of these Terms.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. See the privacy policy for what happens server-side.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

Detailed rules live in our Community Guidelines. The high-level prohibitions are:

• No nudity, sexual content, or sexually explicit conduct on camera.
• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination against any protected class.
• No content involving minors in any context — see the Child Safety Standards.
• No illegal activity (drugs, weapons, fraud, terrorism, copyright infringement).
• No impersonation of another person, public figure, brand, or this service.
• No automated use, scraping, bots, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the matchmaker or backend.
• No commercial promotion, spam, or solicitation without our prior written consent.
• No collecting other users' personal information beyond what they voluntarily disclose in their public profile.

Violations may result in immediate account termination, IP-level blocking, and — where the conduct is unlawful — referral to law enforcement. We cooperate fully with valid legal process.

5. The random-match nature of the service

Video Call connects you with another user we believe matches your selected gender / region / interest preferences (where applicable to your account tier). We do not pre-screen users. We facilitate the connection; we are not responsible for the conduct, statements, content or character of the person you connect with.

If you are uncomfortable in a call, you may end it at any time with the in-call End button. To stop being matched with a specific user again, use the in-call Block button — the block is bidirectional and permanent. To report behaviour that violates these Terms, use the in-call Report button.

6. Coins and virtual items

• The app contains a virtual currency ("coins") used to pay for in-app actions such as starting a call, skipping to the next person, sending a gift, or unlocking certain optional features.
• Coins have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and may not be transferred outside the app.
• Coins can be earned (daily login bonus, streak, rewarded ads, rating the app) or — in a future release — purchased via Google Play Billing as a one-time top-up. Purchased coins are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may at our reasonable discretion adjust the cost of in-app actions, the size of grants, the daily caps on rewarded grants, or the catalog of gifts — including for accounts that have already been created.
• Coin balances do not expire unless your account is deleted or terminated. On account deletion the balance is forfeited.
• Attempts to obtain coins by exploiting bugs, replaying rewarded-ad callbacks, or otherwise circumventing the intended grant flow void all granted coins and may result in account termination.

7. WINK Pro subscription

WINK Pro is a recurring subscription (where available) that unlocks longer calls, removes most ads, surfaces Profile Views, enables matching by interest, and grants a larger daily bonus. The full feature matrix is shown inside the app at the time of purchase.

• Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment terms and refund policies are governed by your Google Play account.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel at Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Cancelling stops future billing — Pro features remain active until the end of the already-paid period.
• Pricing, included features, and the trial period (if any) may change. You will be notified inside the app at least 7 days before any price increase takes effect.
• The first verified Pro purchase grants a starter coin top-up as documented inside the app at purchase time. The top-up is granted once per account and does not stack across renewals.

8. Advertising

The free tier of the app is supported by advertising delivered by Google AdMob (including Meta Audience Network as a mediated network). Rewarded ads — where the user watches a video ad in exchange for an in-app reward — are voluntary. The in-app interface always discloses that a video ad will play before the reward is granted, in compliance with Google's Rewarded Ad Disclosure Policy.

9. User-generated content (Shorts, profile)

The "Shorts" feed in the app currently displays curated content we or our partners select. If, in a future release, we open the feed to user uploads, you will grant us — at upload time — a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, transmit and create thumbnails of the clip solely for the purpose of operating the service. You retain ownership of the clip and may delete it at any time.

Your profile fields (display name, bio, avatar, interests) are visible to other users you are matched with and on your shared profile-link page. Do not publish anything in your profile you would not want a stranger to see.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its source code, design, branding (including the WINK and Video Call marks), and the curated content we surface are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. The licence we grant you to use the app is limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of the app or any of its components, except to the extent that applicable law overrides this restriction.

11. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from a course of dealing or trade usage.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any specific match will be available within any specific time.
• The user on the other end of a call is who they claim to be.
• Defects will be corrected, or that the app is free of viruses or harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the publisher, its directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages — including without limitation damages for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the app shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid us for WINK Pro in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the publisher and its officers, directors, employees, agents and licensors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debts, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party right (including without limitation any copyright, property or privacy right), or your conduct in any call you participate in.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

15. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may modify the app, change features, add or remove functionality, or update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced inside the app with a prompt asking you to re-accept the Terms. Your continued use of the app after material changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the publisher's principal place of business as listed on the Google Play Store page, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation between the parties for 30 days. If no resolution is reached, the dispute shall be referred to the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause affects any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under your local law (notably for EEA, UK and Indian users).

17. Apple App Store / Google Play store-specific terms

Although Video Call is currently published only on Google Play, if you obtain the app from any third-party app store, you acknowledge that the relevant store provider is not a party to these Terms, has no obligation to provide support for the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you.

18. Miscellaneous

• Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• No waiver: a failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app.
• Language: the English version of these Terms is the controlling version. Translations are provided for convenience.
